Bhagat Mahasabha organises Intellectual meet

The Intellectual Forum of Bhagat Mahasabha, J&K unit today organized an Intellectual meet at KC Orchid where the intellectuals discussed the problems being faced by the community and delivered the valuable advices for its outcome. Hundreds of intellectuals especially the service class of Bhagat biradari participated in the meet. Prof Raj Kumar Bhagat, National President of Bhagat Mahasabha presided over the function. OP Bhagat while addressing urged upon all the distinguished guests to pay back to the society.
 He said that the intellectual class of any community plays an active role in uplifting the weaker section of the community. He further urged the members to aware those living in rural and far off areas about various social evils which are badly destroying the future of not only the community but the nation ultimately. He also laid stress to follow the path shown by Sadguru Kabirji Maharaj. He further urged upon the community members to instigate the spirit of brotherhood and nationalism amongst the younger generation for healthy society and nation as well. Daleep Bhagat, SP J&K Police, in his address congratulated O.P Bhagat, Dr Rajesh Bhagat and Er Sudesh Bhagat for the initiative taken by them to unite the community under the banner of Bhagat Mahasabha. Prof Raj Kumar in his address briefed the intellectuals present in the function about the working, infrastructure and the motive of Bhagat Mahasabha. He said no doubt our elders worked day and night for the welfare of the community but yet they failed. “The time has come to reorganize the community to establish the identity at national and international level”, Prof Kumar said. A small documentary about the history of the Megh Samaj was also displayed during the meet. The meet finally concluded with the lunch. Those who participated in the meeting include Bodh Raj Bhagat, President Bhagat Mahasabha J&K Unit, Mohinder Bhagat, Yash Pal Bhagat KAS, Advocate Puran Chand, Kuldeep Raj (Retd Principal), Mela Ram SP J&K Police and others.
